Jean-Claude Gagnon – Speaker and customer experience specialist
Fellow of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Fellow of the Order of Chartered Administrators, Jean-Claude Gagnon, speaker, devotes his professional career to the growth of companies operating mainly in the retail trade.
In this capacity, he was a partner at Malette, chartered accountants and then a partner responsible for management consulting services at Samson Bélair Deloitte until 1986.
In 1986, Jean-Claude Gagnon acquired a small chain of five (5) stores, known as Boutiques Dans un Jardin. As a shareholder, president and CEO, he grew the business to 75 stores under the Parfumerie Dans un Jardin banner.
In 1998, he sold his interests In a Garden, tried to retire, but was quickly called upon to become a main player in the commercial revolution at the SAQ as an advisor to the president and then first vice-president of sales management.
In 2002, the commercial revolution at the SAQ was over and he decided to continue his work as an advisor in growth strategies exclusively in retail: he now has several clients with whom he has had successes as impressive as at the SAQ and at Dans un Jardin. Among them: CAA-Quebec, Federation of Cooperatives in Schools (Coopsco), Familiprix, Aéroports de Montréal, Desjardins, Cavavin, Fenplast.
To communicate his passion for detail, he also became a sought-after speaker recognized by retailers. Simply and generously, he provides them with each growth tool that is easily applicable in their businesses.
