Speaker Jimmy Vigneux graduated in political communication and climate change studies. For 10 years he presided over multiple organizations for local development and social economy businesses. Entrepreneur himself, he participated as a professional photographer in numerous humanitarian missions in different parts of the world. Rewarding his inspiring professional path, he was selected to take part in the Canada C3 expedition in 2017. Jimmy is currently the general manager of the Société de Dévelopement Commercial of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, representing more than 300 local businesses.
Concerned by the fate of our planet, M. Vigneux actively dedicates himself for the community. Ambassador for Réalité Climatique Canada, he is also a board member of the Mouvement des Artisans du Changement. Speaker Jimmy Vigneux is the co-founder of the Mission 100 tons, selected as one of the world most promising project to participate in the Youth Leadership Summit in Bali. The David Suzuki Foundation awarded him the great prize of “Demain le Québec” for the “greenest and most committed” project of 2018.
