He was president of Lou-Tec Group Inc. from 2012 to 2018. Lou-Tec is the largest network of heavy machinery, equipment and tool rental centres in Eastern Canada.<\/p>\n
During his tenure at the helm of the company, Mr. Gu\u00e9vin completed three major mergers and acquisitions and the company recorded annual growth of over 15%, the highest in its industry.<\/p>\n
Mr. Gu\u00e9vin has also held various positions within Rona over the past 25 years, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2001.<\/p>\n
He has been at the heart of the major strategic directions and a major contributor to the company’s transformation from a cooperative to a national leader, with sales of over $6 billion.<\/p>\n
He also led the initial public offering and listing of Rona.<\/p>\n
A recognized leader in negotiation, he has completed more than 30 major acquisitions in Canada generating $3.5 billion in sales and has led the real estate development and construction of the country’s big box stores.<\/p>\n
Mr. Gu\u00e9vin received the CFO of the Year award from CFO Canada in 2008.<\/p>\n
He is currently Vice-President of the Marie-Vincent Foundation and the Marie-Vincent Centre of Expertise.<\/p>\n
Having worked in private and public companies in the retail and distribution sectors, he knows how to create and innovate in the development of a business plan.<\/p>\n
