I’m sure you have a GPS in your car or at least in your smartphone. Few people do not use it to get to a place they have never been. Of course, drivers use it, but so do aeroplane pilots, ship captains, farmers with their tractors, cyclists, and sometimes even pedestrians. Even satellites and drones have one.<\/p>\n

The principle is simple. You enter a destination and the GPS shows you the best route to get there. Is the proposed route congested or under construction? No problem, your GPS will suggest another one almost immediately.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As long as the destination is fixed, your GPS will always suggest a way to get there. Sometimes there will be detours and unforeseen routes, but you will always end up at your destination.<\/p>\n

I know you see me coming as big as a bus. It’s the same with the goals you set for yourself in life. As long as your goal is clear, your mental GPS will suggest a way to get there. Do you encounter obstacles or unforeseen circumstances? No problem, as long as your goal(s) remain fixed, your mental GPS will send you solutions and suggest ways to get around the obstacles. I guarantee it!<\/p>\n

What you need to know is that two conditions are essential for your mental GPS to work properly:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1- You need to set yourself a clear and precise destination or destinations.<\/p>\n

2- You must listen to your mental GPS.<\/p>\n

This magnificent steering system is accessible to all, yet it is not:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1- 95% of people never set a goal.<\/p>\n

2- 3% of the others don’t know how to listen to their mental GPS and get discouraged before it even calculates a new route.<\/p>\n

And yes, your math is right!<\/p>\n

Only 2% of people make full use of their mental GPS.<\/p>\n

Who are they? You know them better than you think!<\/p>\n

They are the ones you see playing in the major leagues of any sport, the ones who run companies, even the one you work for, the ones you see in movies, the ones who perform at the Bell Centre, the ones who go to the Olympics, the ones who go on their dream trip, the ones who live in their dream home, and the list goes on.<\/p>\n

ALL THOSE WHO ACHIEVE THE GOALS THEY SET FOR THEMSELVES, ENCOUNTERED UNFORESEEN OBSTACLES, LISTENED, FOLLOWED THEIR MENTAL GPS AND EVENTUALLY REACHED THEIR DESTINATION.<\/p>\n

Isn’t it fantastic? No matter where you want to go, listen to your GPS, it will guide you without a hitch.<\/p>\n
