  • Information security;
  • Information technology;
  • Risk management;
  • Leadership skills;
  • Audit skills.

Steve Waterhouse will give an overview of computer threats. He will focus on developing and highlighting the threat actors at work in cyberspace.

This update on the state of computer threats will enable you to apply the right strategies to protect your information, while knowing who to prevent and what to prevent. You’ll end this presentation with tools and in-depth knowledge of today’s reality.

During this presentation, Mr. Waterhouse will give an overview of the issues surrounding privacy, which is being eroded every day by the use of invasive technologies and all those organizations that are constantly taking information from us in spite of ourselves.

He will review the elements of Quebec’s new Bill 25, which is designed to better protect citizens. It will then explore the responsibilities that companies must assume to meet the requirements of this same law.

In an increasingly connected society, automation and ease of use don’t always come with adequate protection. speaker will discuss the forthcoming passage of federal Bill C-26, and the responsibilities that businesses and public administrations will have to protect the services that are essential to our society.

In addition, in this presentation, Steve Waterhouse will define cybersecurity by contrasting it with information protection in all aspects of our society and in our day-to-day work. Here’s a list of what he’ll be talking about:
