For more than 30 years, Benoît Gagnon has made his mark in the media industry, where his energy and personality have taken him from Salut, Bonjour! to Survivor Québec, along with radio and numerous television projects.

Host, entrepreneur, race car driver and thrill-seeker, Benoît has never been afraid to step outside his comfort zone. Entrepreneurship, personal growth, community involvement and finding balance between the different areas of life: his journey is as rich as it is diverse.

A father of three and actively involved in several causes, he now shares his experiences with authenticity, humour and plenty of energy.

About Benoît Gagnon

A television and radio host for 33 years, Benoît Gagnon has carved out a prominent place for himself in the world of communications.

After spending eight years at Salut, Bonjour!, both in sports and as a host, and receiving the great honour of winning four Artis Awards, he went on to appear in productions such as Le Retour à la maison on TQS and Le Grand Saut on V. He made a notable return to television in the winter of 2023 as a contestant on the third season of Big Brother Célébrités, and has been hosting Survivor Québec en Prolongation on Noovo since spring 2024.

On the radio, he can be heard on Énergie 94.3.

A seasoned entrepreneur with a keen business sense, he was the owner of Globe restaurant and is currently a shareholder and owner of Tryangle Gaming PlayJeux, Brasserie Amiral, eco-friendly cleaning products company BrainWash, and Madame Bovary restaurants.

A passionate race car enthusiast, he holds an FIA racing licence, won the Canadian Touring Car race at the Canadian Grand Prix in the summer of 2013, and hosted Équipé pour rouler on Z.

An avid thrill-seeker, he successfully climbed Mount Aconcagua in Argentina, the highest peak in the Americas.

Philanthropy is also at the heart of his professional activities. Deeply involved in his community and always willing to lend a hand and give his time, he has participated in 24H Tremblant for many years, serves as an ambassador for Breakfast Club of Canada, and supports various campaigns, including the autism awareness initiative “Différent comme toi.”

A proud father of three, family is always at the centre of his life and remains, without a doubt, his greatest source of pride.
