Leadership in times of crisis

It is always during a storm that one recognizes the best captains. It's true at sea. It's true in business. It's true in every organization.

As a journalist for the past 40 years, Paul Larocque has worked with many leaders. Both in the media when a major event occurs in the news, and by observing the politicians of the last four decades, he has been able to observe what distinguishes the TRUE LEADERS from the others.

In his 50-minute lecture on "Leadership in Times of Crisis", Paul Larocque will highlight the true traits of successful LEADERS. He will address the following elements, drawing on his professional experiences and his observations in political coverage since 1984:

  • How to behave in a crisis situation (observations and reflections);
  • The challenges of communication in times of crisis;
  • The importance of transparency and honesty;
  • The need to resist the intoxication of power;
  • Why the truly great leaders are often people who have remained humble;
  • Teamwork in crisis situations; inspiring rather than imposing.

Surely, during this conference, you will be able to make a small trip in the time of the history of Quebec and, perhaps, you will be entitled to small anecdotes "off the record".

The political game, the media game and you!
