As a former obese man, author and co-author of best-selling diet books (Kilo Motivated, Kilo Cardio 1, 2 and 3), I believe I am well placed to talk about the importance of health in personal success. No matter what level of success you want to achieve, you will need energy to get there. Our energy is what fuels the quality of our work, our creativity, our positivism and of course, it is what allows us to perform for long hours when necessary.
Without energy, nothing is possible! Our energy comes from what we eat, drink and how we live.
I don’t know where you are in terms of your personal energy and health, but if you are like 50% of Quebecers who are a few pounds (sometimes more) overweight, I invite you to consider this:
- It’s easier to lose weight than to gain it. I swear to you.
- We lose the weight in our heads before we lose it on the scales.
- Eating better and less and being more physically active will always be the key to success.
- It is possible to lose weight and never gain it back. (It’s been nine years since I lost 80 lbs and have maintained my weight)
- You will never, ever regret the few efforts you have to make to get there.
