Bryan Perro, speaker, is an internationally acclaimed author of the Amos Dar agon children’s fantasy series, the first twelve volumes of which have sold over 1,400,000 copies in Quebec alone. Translated and published in twenty-six countries, including France, Russia, Brazil, Portugal and Japan, Bryan Perro has received numerous awards, including the Prix jeunesse en littérature de science-fiction et de fantastique québécois in 2006.
A best-selling author, he is also a prolific designer, scriptwriter and director. His shows Éclyps, Amos Daragon and Dragao were presented at the Cité de l’Énergie in Shawinigan. A seasoned storyteller, Bryan has, among other things, performed a Christmas tale at the Maison Symphonique in December 2012, in the company of the OSM and Kent Nagano. Designer and hostof his own television show on Radio-Canada, Bryan Perro explored the mythology and popular imagination of Quebec from 2011 to 2013. General and artistic director of Culture Shawinigan since July 2015, his passion for hockey led him to join the group of shareholders of the Shawinigan Cataractes, a Quebec major junior team, in 2014.
