About Colette Provencher

Colette Provencher has been active in the artistic and media fields since 1980, beginning her career as a weather presenter for CHEM television in Trois-Rivières. She later moved to Montreal, joining Télé-Métropole as a weather presenter for the 6 p.m. news. From 1984 to 1988, Colette also ventured into radio, working with Radiomutuel.

She then became a host and interviewer for shows such as Les Couleurs du jour and SOS Consommation, while continuing her work in weather broadcasting. In 1990, alongside her full-time role, she starred in the national TV campaign Vous en mieux for Clairol’s Nice’N Easy product.

Since 1993, Colette has been the weather presenter for TVA’s 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. evening news. She has hosted La Trattoria, a show focused on Italian family cooking, and served as the presenter for TVA’s Transformation Extrême. She has also appeared on several other programs, including Sortez-moi d’ici.

In addition to her media career, Colette Provencher leads conferences, hosts special events, participates in philanthropic activities, and features in various advertising campaigns.
