Biography of Marc Griffin :
A former Olympian and prospect with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Montreal Expos in the early 1990s, Marc Griffin became, at the end of his playing career, one of the voices of the Expos... and one of the most endearing personalities in the world of sports media!
Plus précisément, Marc a travaillé 10 saisons pour l’organisation des Expos de Montréal en plus de différents médias montréalais. Il a entre autres été analyste aux parties des Expos de Montréal; de 1995 à 1998 sur les ondes de TQS, en 1999 avec la Société Radio-Canada et de 2000 à 2005 sur le réseau radiophonique des Expos. Pour son excellence à la télévision, lui et son confrère Michel Villeneuve furent en nomination en 1998 dans deux catégories pour un prix Gémeaux ainsi qu’en 2018 et 2021 dans la catégorie « meilleure animation émission sportive » avec son confrère Alain Usereau.
Marc still coaches youth baseball and since April 2011, he sits on the Board of Directors of Baseball Quebec as Vice President.
Marc has been the baseball analyst for RDS since 2011 and was inducted into the Baseball Quebec Hall of Fame in November 2017.
In the spring of 2019, his auto-biographical story Griffin 26 was published by Éditions De Mortagne.
