Biography of Marc Griffin :
A former Olympian and prospect with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Montreal Expos in the early 1990s, Marc Griffin became, at the end of his playing career, one of the voices of the Expos… and one of the most endearing personalities in the world of sports media!
More specifically, Marc worked 10 seasons for the Montreal Expos organization, in addition to various Montreal media. He was a game analyst for the Montreal Expos from 1995 to 1998 on TQS, in 1999 with Société Radio-Canada and from 2000 to 2005 on the Expos radio network. For his excellence in television, he and his colleague Michel Villeneuve were nominated in 1998 in two categories for a Gémeaux award, and in 2018 and 2021 in the “Best Sports Program Host” category with his colleague Alain Usereau.
Marc still coaches youth baseball and since April 2011, he sits on the Board of Directors of Baseball Quebec as Vice President.
Marc has been the baseball analyst for RDS since 2011 and was inducted into the Baseball Quebec Hall of Fame in November 2017.
In the spring of 2019, his auto-biographical story Griffin 26 was published by Éditions De Mortagne.
