About Marc Griffin

Former Olympian and early prospect for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Montreal Expos in the early 1990s, Marc Griffin transitioned from his playing career to become one of the most recognizable and beloved voices in sports media.

Marc spent 10 seasons with the Montreal Expos organization and worked across various Montreal media outlets. He served as an analyst for Expos games from 1995 to 1998 on TQS, in 1999 with Société Radio-Canada, and from 2000 to 2005 on the Expos radio network. For his excellence on television, he and colleague Michel Villeneuve were nominated in two categories for a Gémeaux Award in 1998, and in 2018 and 2021, he was nominated for “Best Sports Show Hosting” alongside Alain Usereau.

Marc continues to coach young baseball players and, since April 2011, has served as Vice-President on the Board of Directors of Baseball Québec.

He has been the baseball analyst for RDS since 2011 and was inducted into the Baseball Québec Hall of Fame in November 2017.

In spring 2019, his autobiographical account Griffin 26 was published by Éditions De Mortagne.
