Keynotes

The search for meaning is universal. Everyone wants to understand what is happening in their life, in their social or professional environment. A conference is a moment to pause, where I aim to help participants put words to their reality, spark reflection, and provide avenues for understanding and action. I address a group as if speaking to an individual, respecting each person’s identity and the issues they are currently facing. As a speaker, my conferences are a way to bring my knowledge and experience to bear on the specific realities of the people gathered.

– Rose-Marie Charest

Building on her expertise in psychology and communication, Rose-Marie Charest offers tailored conferences designed around the realities and challenges of your organization.

Whether the focus is psychological health, leadership, change, or work-life balance, she creates moments to pause, understand, reflect, and act. With clarity and empathy, she helps participants put words to their experiences and discover practical strategies to grow and evolve.

Discover her conferences and explore how they can be customized for your team.

The true prevention of psychosocial risks (PSR) relies on maintaining a healthy work environment. Yet, no one can achieve this alone. It is a shared responsibility among leadership, managers, colleagues, and each individual. What is the role of each person? How are individual and collective well-being connected? How can we take care of ourselves both professionally and personally?

In this conference, Rose-Marie will explore these topics in a practical way, providing participants with concrete insights and actionable strategies.

Taking care of yourself is not selfish. To truly care for others, generosity alone is not enough. It requires physical energy as well as the psychological capacity to manage emotions—both your own and those of others—maintain a harmonious helping relationship despite individual differences, and remain present without losing yourself. Whether you are a professional or a caregiver, you are your most important tool, and compassion fatigue can creep in insidiously.

In this conference, Rose-Marie will address the physical, cognitive, emotional, affective, and relational dimensions that need to be considered.

Psychological well-being results from the interaction between an individual and their environment. Managers are accustomed to taking care of their environment, but what about taking care of themselves as individuals? Yet this is essential to be equipped to handle various stresses, maintain a high level of energy throughout the year, interact effectively with team members, and, above all, serve as a role model.

In this conference, Rose-Marie will explore the different components of well-being that deserve our attention, including physical, behavioral, cognitive, affective, emotional, and relational aspects. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

Psychological health results from the interaction between an individual and their environment. In the workplace, preventing psychosocial risks requires giving great importance to the work climate. This responsibility, however, is shared among management, supervisors, colleagues, and the individual themselves. Everyone must take care of their own well-being while contributing positively to the work environment.

In this conference, we will explore the role each person can play in preventing psychosocial risks, both from the perspective of the individual and the broader workplace environment.

Society and organizations are changing faster than ever. This pace can be demanding, inevitable, and, in many cases, beneficial. How can we navigate change more effectively? How can we rely on what remains stable to adapt to what varies? How can we turn it into an opportunity for growth?

In this conference, we will explore the aspects of the individual affected by the demands of change, the resulting stress, and the psychological and organizational strategies to mitigate its impact. The focus will be on identifying opportunities to transform change into a positive experience both personally and professionally.

Leadership is the ability to inspire others, motivating them to follow you in achieving a project—whether small or large. This brings value both to the leader and to those who benefit from their accomplishments. Yet, there aren’t simply two categories of people—leaders and non-leaders. Each of us has the potential to develop our own leadership style. How?

In this conference, we explore leadership through four key dimensions: self-image, motivation, communication, and action. Participants will learn how to better understand themselves, identify their true motivations, communicate them effectively, and foster engagement through meaningful action.

The quest for happiness is universal, yet no one is completely happy all their life. From both clinical experience and life observation, it has become clear that those with the potential for happiness are the ones who can place their difficulties and shortcomings within a larger perspective.

In this conference, we will explore how each person can enhance their capacity for happiness by caring for their own well-being, improving interpersonal relationships, and developing a holistic view of their life, themselves, and others.

The code of ethics for various professions sets rules designed to protect the public and uphold the values of the profession. Under normal circumstances, these rules are relatively easy to apply in professional-client relationships. But what happens when a client’s personality creates particular challenges? How can a professional both respect their code of ethics and safeguard the relationship? What professional—and personal—boundaries must not be crossed?

In this conference, which can be tailored for a specific profession in collaboration with a representative of the relevant regulatory body, we will explore relational challenges based on personality types. Participants will also learn communication strategies that help prevent or resolve potential issues.
