Marc-André Leclerc, speaker, spent ten years on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. He held one of the most prestigious positions for a political employee on the federal scene: Chief of Staff to the Leader of the Official Opposition.
Since leaving politics, Marc-André has been a consultant in government relations, in addition to collaborating on the LCN program La Joute, having a column in the Journal de Montréal and the Journal de Québec as well as on Qub Radio.
In September 2022, Marc-André published his very first book Political Confidences: A glimpse into the inner circle of our elected officials with Les Éditions du Journal.
Before swimming in politics, Marc-André participated six times in the Traversée internationale du lac Saint-Jean, a 32-kilometre competition between Péribonka and his hometown Roberval.
Marc-André is a graduate of Laval University and the father of two daughters.

Biography of Marc-Ancré Leclerc :
Marc-André Leclerc is a native of Roberval in Lac-Saint-Jean. He has represented his country in twenty open water swimming marathons around the world while participating in the FINA circuit. Between 2002 and 2007, he participated in the legendary Traversée internationale du lac Saint-Jean, a 32-kilometre race.
Marc-André Leclerc is an expert in public affairs and strategic communications. He has over ten years of experience at the national level in communications, media relations, issues management, stakeholder relations and parliamentary affairs.
After graduating from Laval University, Marc-André worked on Parliament Hill for almost a decade. Most recently, he served as Chief of Staff in the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition. Prior to that, he held the positions of Communications Director, Political Advisor and Political Organizer.
Marc-Andre has worked on three national campaigns at the federal level in 2011, 2015 and 2019. He was recognized by The Hill Times as one of the 99 most powerful and influential people to watch in federal politics in 2019.
Since September 2020, Marc-André has been a contributor to the LCN program La Joute. He is also a columnist for the Journal de Montréal, the Journal de Québec and Qub Radio.
